Description
- Hours for this position are 7am-3:15pm.
General Building Rounds:
- Police for loose trash on all floors
- Empty garbage cans as needed
- Remove any standing water as needed
- Report any problems you encounter such as lights out, elevator down, broken furniture, graffiti, etc…
Extra Duties include but not limited to:
- Snow removal
- Glass cleaning
- Clean entrances from debris/ excess salt/ leaves
- Dusting flat surfaces
- Washing of trash cans as needed inside/outside
- Watering plant material
- Fan/Wet floor sign placements on wet/snow days
- Coverage for ALH building rounds as needed
- Service feminine napkin dispensers twice a month or as needed per assigned buildings
- Special cleanups that may be associated with Fred's Camp
Special Collections and Archives
Daily:
- Empty trash receptacles, including recycling bins
- Use the large dust mop to clean the floor in the tiled back room
- Run the carpet sweeper to pick up debris on the carpeted office and reading room areas
Once a week:
- Wet mop the tiled back room floor.
- Vacuum the carpeted office and reading room.
Upon request, infrequently:
- Dust mop or sweep the stacks; both on the third floor and fourth floor
- It is understood that from time to time special events and emergencies may not permit all of these duties each day; in such instances you will provide a courtesy telephone call to inform the faculty/staff of the delay or absence.

The anticipated hiring range for this position is: $19-$22.15/hr.
The salary range provided in this posting reflects what we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Actual compensation offered or earned is dependent on experience, education and other factors including departmental budget.
