The Highlights: The purpose of this position is to support project STRIDE, which is a 5-year US Department of Education federal grant awarded to DePaul and led by Dr. Antonio Polo from the Psychology Department. The goal is to support trainees from DePaul and other universities during their internship year and train them in cultural competence and evidence based practice. Staff Project Coordinators will help create supports and train and support STRIDE Scholars. They will also help with the program evaluation and reports related to the grant and its activities


What You'll Do:

  • Part time staff research assistants will be responsible for analyzing group member data across cohorts, help put together and email monthly cohort memos, help with article search for STRIDE library and evidence-based programs search for STRIDE library 
  • Help put together presentations for PLCs and email memos to STRIDE and CPS staff cohorts and assist in the creation of reports and evaluation of STRIDE and STRIDE Scholar activities 
  • Monitor progress on client recruitment, client engagement, group fidelity, therapist fidelity. Send email reminders to STRIDE trainees and CPS staff delivering group program 
  • Collect data by conducting student referral assessments, participant interviews, parent interviews, and provider surveys 
  • Assist school-based partners and STRIDE Scholars with participant recruitment, data collection, and participant progress monitoring 
     

What You'll Need:

  • BA/BS in psychology or related field and at least 6 months of experience conducting school-based or mental health research.
  • Preferred - Spanish speaking.
  • This is a grant-funded position and is subject to the availability of grant funding.

The anticipated hiring range for this position is: $18.70 to $22.00. 

The salary range provided in this posting reflects what we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Actual compensation offered or earned is dependent on experience, education and other factors including departmental budget.
