Job Description
Manages the daily operations of the department and staff and ensures delivery of care, productivity and timeliness. Ensures staff is informed of changes impacting their work by communicating updates, policy revision, performance outcomes and significant events. Evaluates practice for quality, timelines and process consistency.
Job Responsibility
Provides leadership to team members and supervisors by communicating and guiding toward achieving department objectives. Develops, communicates, and builds consensus for goals in alignment with system. Selects, develops, manages and evaluates direct reports; and oversees the selection, development, management and evaluation of indirect reports. Develops case management reports to report departmental outcomes, trends and issues. Ensures staff provides case management within scope of practice in compliance with department protocols. Monitors individual staff caseloads and beneficiary treatment plans to ensure effective delivery of care, productivity and timeliness. Develops staff performance evaluations in collaboration with director. Coordinates staff orientation and training programs; documents and assesses effectiveness of staff training. Collaborates with medical providers, Medical Director and nursing leadership on program interpretation and guidance. Revises operational processes, policies and procedures to ensure overall program effectiveness. Coordinates staff in-services with key internal/external customers to resolve beneficiary care issues and improve access. Performs related duties as required. Job Qualification
Master's Degree in Nursing or related field required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience. Bachelors or Masters must be in Nursing.
Current License to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State required, plus specialized certifications as needed.
6-8 years of relevant experience and 2-5 years of leadership / management experience, required.

The salary range for this position is $105,000-$170,000/year
