Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is hiring a RN Supervisor in Newark, New York! This role is in person / on site. Please read below and apply with an updated resume for consideration:

**Type:** Contract to permanent

**Schedule:** Tuesday through Saturday, 1pm to 9pm

**Pay:** $39.50 an hour

**Responsibilities of the RN Supervisor:**

· Demonstrates teamwork and an ability to work in a multidisciplinary team environment with coworkers and supervisors. Demonstrates the ability to be flexible and cooperative.

· Demonstrates professionalism by providing quality service and care with respect and dignity for the clients

· Coordinate and document medical program compliance in accordance with Agency & OASAS policies, procedures and regulations.

· Ensures that all documentation for medical services is recorded accurately; track outcomes & needs.

· Completes and monitors medication administration records.

· Assists with program applicant referrals, screens, admissions and discharges in a professional and proficient manner.

· Obtains and maintains knowledge of community resources to coordinate or refer clients to a full range of medical services.

· Participates in general, staff, in-service and supervisory meetings held by the Agency. Includes facilitation as needed/assigned.

· Participates in agency/program continuous improvement/department enhancements related to medical/nursing.

· Provides program leadership and full team with verbal communication updates of client/program/staff status at each shift change or more frequently as necessary.

· Provides programmatic oversight of the development and implementation of clients' objectives as it relates to medication management and/or medical issues.

· Provides instruction and/or education to clients as it pertains to medication management and/or medical issues.

· Ensure documentation of clients' progress is complete, accurate and timely.

**Qualifications for the RN Supervisor:**

· BSN degree, preferred

· Active, unrestricted RN licensure in New York

· BLS Certification

· Behavioral health or acute detox experience highly preferred
