Our community is looking for an Overnight Concierge to join our team.
The Concierge is responsible for greeting guests, residents, and employees, managing both external and internal calls, taking and communicating messages, and providing information of a general nature.
Responsibilities:
- Carries out telephone answering and reception duties as required.
- Takes messages with pertinent information and communicates messages to the recipient.
- Greets residents, visitors, guests and vendors. Answers inquiries and gives directions.
- Collates brochures & documents for the marketing department.
- Prepares meal tickets for family members & guests.
- Takes Room Service orders for meal delivery to Residents.
- Assists Residents with sign-ups for Actiities, Outings and Events.
- Updates the Resident Phone List and maintains Resident Emergency Contact information.
- Manages appointment reminders for residents' transportation.
- Maintains and keeps desk and entry area neat and organized.
- Organizes & distributes packages & other deliveries to residents & staff.
- Sets up theater and prepares popcorn for regular movie night.
- Responds to Resident Emergency Pendant pushes or phone calls from Residents or family to initiate 911/EMS.
- Maintains adherence to all company personnel policies and established operating policies and procedures.
- Assists and supports the Business Office Manager and other Department Directors.
- Direct Report to the Business Office Manager.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
- Experience with multi-line phones, computers, copy machine, Keytrak device, and other technology.
- 2 to 3 years of direct customer service experience, experience in Senior Living preferred.
- Polite, helpful, articulate, responsible, and dependable.
- Willing/Able to work: 10:30pm - 7:30am - Nights can vary with some weekends and holidays required.
