As the Hospitality Manager, you will partner closely with the Executive Chef and Culinary Services Director to lead hospitality excellence across the dining experience.

Your Role:

As the Hospitality Manager, your role focuses on creating memorable resident and guest experiences, strengthening team culture, and ensuring high standards of service, training, and engagement throughout the front-of-house dining operations.

 What You'll Do:

  • Partner with the Executive Chef and Culinary Services Director to lead hospitality strategies and dining initiatives
  • Support operational and culinary teams in delivering exceptional resident and guest experiences
  • Develop, communicate, and execute hospitality training for front-of-house team members
  • Manage the pre-meal experience alongside culinary and service staff
  • Build strong relationships with residents and engage regularly to ensure satisfaction
  • Initiate and analyze resident satisfaction surveys, focus groups, and point-of-sale data to drive service improvements
  • Identify opportunities for enhancement by staying current on food, beverage, and hospitality trends
  • Create a welcoming, celebratory dining environment where residents feel connected and valued
  • Supervise front-of-house team members, including scheduling, performance management, coaching, and corrective action
  • Interview, hire, and train front-of-house team members; assist with back-of-house interviews as needed
  • Manage front-of-house labor budgets and inventory
  • Assist with planning and execution of special events, banquets, theme meals, and beverage programs
  • Establish seasonal beverage offerings and oversee alcohol and non-alcoholic purchasing
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Activities, and community leadership to support resident events and unique experiences
  • Ensure dining operations meet customer satisfaction and health survey benchmarks
  • Support back-of-house and front-of-house operations as needed, including the ability to work dining room or kitchen stations when required
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of three (3) years of fine dining experience
  • Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory or management experience, including hiring, coaching, performance management, and daily operations oversight
  • State and/or Federal Food Handling and Sanitation certification
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to analyze data and develop action plans to improve service quality
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven experience leading and motivating teams to deliver high service standards
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to delegate effectively and manage staff performance
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • Demonstrated interest in working with a senior population
