General Summary:
Provides operational management and administrative support for the Administrative Services Department. This includes the management and daily operation of the Mail Services, Copy Center, with Shipping and Receiving. In addition, you will have indirect management of the departmental budgeting process and support of multiple company events.
Job Details:Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manage a services package consisting of service contracts and providers, contract employees, coordinators, and systems hardware/software.
- Serve as the Administrative Services representative and liaison in all discussions of projects and processes that impact the operations within the SSC buildings. Oversee daily operations within the SSC from mail and dock services to Copy Center production. Directly involved with negotiations with service providers and works with the Admin Services Director on Project Management.
- Maintain fiscal accountability of all assigned cost centers, participate in forecasting of budgets, and provide statistical information as required.
- Liaison with internal customers and service providers to ensure the accurate and timely receiving, sorting, and delivery of all inbound and outbound mail and parcels.
- Provide leadership and manage development of all Administrative Services personnel. Conduct routine and surprise quality checks of services provided and of all contracted service providers.

- Excellent time management skills and the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously

- Ability to track and provide analytical information as required
Work Experience &/or Education:
- Any combination of education and experience that would provide the required skill and knowledge for successful performance would be qualifying.
- Typical qualifications would be equivalent to a bachelor's degree in business administration or at least five years experience in management, security, facilities management, or business program management.
