Manages the maintenance of all jet aircraft, and facilities and equipment to ensure quality standards and airworthiness. 

Job Details:
  1. Maintains all aircraft, hanger facility and ground support equipment.  Establishes maintenance schedules in coordination with flight schedules. Plans, projects and schedules maintenance requirements within approved time limitations – 20%
  2. Inventories and purchases material, parts for aircraft, hanger and ground support equipment – 10%
  3. Ensures airworthiness of company aircraft, engines and accessories of the aircraft – 10%
  4. Ensures cleanliness of airplane and Hangar facility as required or necessary – 10%
  5. Complies with applicable Federal Aviation Regulations pertaining to maintenance, manufacturer's recommendations, all required reports and log book entries – 10%
  6. Continually evaluates maintenance programs and develops improvements – 10%
  7. Maintains proper communication, corporation and teamwork within the Aviation Department – 10%
  8. May monitor and approve any inspections and repairs performed by outside service organizations – 10%
  9. May perform miscellaneous duties as assigned by Chief Pilot – 10%
Qualifications:

Appropriate technical training and knowledge as may typically be obtained through a certification in aircraft maintenance and at least 4 to 5 years of aircraft maintenance for a corporate flight department, military service or an aircraft maintenance company
