**This is not a Remote Role** This role is ONSITE at the DG headquarters in Goodlettsville, TN.
Under minimal direction, supports activities related to the administration of the Corporate Giving Program, DG Employee Assistance Foundation, DG Literacy Foundation, Public Relations and Government Affairs.
Job Details:- Field telephone calls from stores and customers requesting grant information.
- Review grant applications to ensure submissions meet all requirements.
- Ensure proposals are entered into the grant database in a timely and efficient manner.
- Assist in the preparation of donor communications, press releases, social content, and check presentations.
- Coordinate communications with nonprofit organizations, external entities, and internal partners, including drafting letters, sharing guidelines, and reviewing applications.
- Assist with the issuance of in-kind donations and maintain an accurate database of those donations.
- Coordinate efforts to support efficient department operations, including calendar and schedule management, meeting planning, invoice processing, and travel coordination.
- Support the planning and coordination of volunteer activities, including assisting with recruitment of Dollar General employees for company volunteer initiatives, creating and distributing thank-you correspondence to volunteer participants following corporate projects, and coordinating guest speakers for quarterly CSR luncheons.

Work Experience &/or Education:
- High school education is required.
- College degree in marketing, public relations, social work or nonprofit management preferred.
- A combination of education and experience that would provide the required skills and knowledge for successful performance will be considered.
