Responsible for oversight of event planning strategy and implementation to execute company meetings and special events. Manages relationships and negotiates agreements with vendors for the site selection, audio visual service, transportation, food and beverage, etc. Approves all expenditures and ensures events are successful within the assigned budget.
Examples of meetings/events include but are not limited to approximately 100+ annual events. Examples include: Annual Leadership Manager meeting, press conferences, groundbreakings, grand openings, annual shareholders meeting, analyst meetings, vendor summits, employee incentive events and trips, and field meetings road show.
Job Details:§ Oversee corporate events strategy by proposing, executing, and managing events that align with company goals and engagement objectives. This includes but is not limit oversite and implementation budget, events planning/management, and communication cascades.

§ Conduct site searches, negotiate terms and administer contracts with venue, entertainment, catering, A/V and other service providers; while serving as the logistical liaison for service providers.

§ Conceptualize, design, and execute corporate events, providing recommendations for theme, programming/agenda, collateral production and administrative/logistical support. Events include annual district managers meeting, groundbreakings, grand openings, and among others.

§ Oversee and execute communication cascade to ensure precise, timely, and efficient communication of company events with senior management, department leaders, employees, and vendors.

§ Prepare pre and post event analysis to include proposal of action planning and follow up to ensure continued improvement based upon event analysis.

Qualifications:- Proficient experience in corporate communications, public relations, and/or creative design principles
- Excellent organizational skills
- Proven problem-solving skills, with a sense of urgency and accuracy
- Strong analytical and creative skills
- Highly skilled negotiator and logistics manager
- Strong interpersonal skills with field employees and officers alike
- Strong writing skills
- Proven leadership and team building abilities
- Proficient with word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation applications

- Position requires periodic travel to events/meetings
Work Experience &/or Education:
- Bachelor's degree in public relations, communications or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years experience as a meetings and events planner for a major corporation with a high volume of meetings. Experience can be substituted for degree.
