Salary Range: $48,000 - $53,000

Duties and Responsibilities

  • The Human Resources Manager is responsible for the administration of Human Resource programs involving compensation, rewards and recognition, corporate assessments, policy management, employee relations, and general HR administration.
  • Administers, in partnership with departmental hiring managers and corporate HR, the full-cycle recruitment, screening, hiring, onboarding, and retention programs for all center staff to ensure the attraction and selection of qualified talent.
  • Monitors all personnel and employment practices to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, Department of Labor regulations, Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) requirements, and company policies and procedures.
  • Serves as the primary HR resource for managers and supervisors, providing guidance and support on employee relations matters, performance management, workplace investigations, conflict resolution, and policy interpretation.
  • Partners closely with Corporate Human Resources to administer and manage employee Leave of Absence programs, including FMLA, ADA accommodations, military leave, personal leave, workers' compensation leave, and other protected leave requests. Ensures timely documentation, compliance, communication, and return-to-work processes.
  • Collaborates with Corporate Human Resources and Center leadership to address employee performance concerns by coaching supervisors on performance management best practices and implementing Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs) that support employee development and accountability.
  • Leads and coordinates corrective action processes, including verbal coaching, written warnings, final warnings, suspensions, and terminations. Ensures all disciplinary actions are administered consistently, appropriately documented, and compliant with company policy and employment regulations.
  • Conducts employee relations investigations involving workplace complaints, policy violations, harassment allegations, misconduct, and other personnel issues. Prepares findings and recommendations in partnership with Corporate Human Resources.
  • Maintains personnel records, HRIS data, and confidential employee information in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitors Center workers' compensation, OSHA, and workplace safety programs, partnering with leadership to promote a safe and compliant work environment.
  • Analyzes workforce trends, turnover metrics, employee engagement data, and staffing needs to provide recommendations that support organizational goals and operational effectiveness.
  • Develops and implements effective new hire orientation.
  • Supports organizational change initiatives, workforce planning efforts, succession planning activities, and talent development strategies in partnership with Center and Corporate leadership.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of a high school diploma is required.
  • Three years Human Resources experience required preferred.
  • Labor relations experience and supervisory experience preferred.
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record preferred.
  • Required to pass a drug screen in compliance with our Substance Abuse and Drug-Free Workplace policy.
  • Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a nationwide criminal background check.
