Englewood Health is expanding its existing services at its Hospital Outpatient Department (HOPD), located in Woodland Park, NJ.  We are seeking a motivated and skilled Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) with Breast Care experience to join our healthcare team, committed to providing high-quality, patient-centered care to our community.
 
Job Summary:
The Advanced Practice Nurse is an expert clinician and patient advocate in a particular specialty or subspecialty of nursing practice. The Advanced Practice Nurse can be a credentialed Clinical Nurse Specialist or Nurse Practitioner. The Advanced Practice Nurse provides direct patient care, including assessing, diagnosing, planning health promotion and preventive care within this specialized area of practice and prescribing pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatment of health problems according to established joint nursing/medical protocols. In addition to direct practice, the sub-roles of the Advanced Practice Nurse role include education, research and consultation. The Advanced Practice Nurse is involved in indirect practice activities with the goal of improving the quality of care across the continuum of care.  New MSN graduates are welcome to apply.

Job Essentials:

  • Minimum of 1 year clinical experience in area of expertise; willing to train
  • Conduct Computer Tomography (CT Scan) studies of the heart
  • Potential to conduct Nuclear Stress studies in the future
  • Previous leadership/teaching experience preferred
  • Prior experience in Cardiology and/or Breast preferred

 

Education Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN) required
     

License/Certification/Registry Requirements:

  • Current New Jersey Professional Nurse License
  • Current New Jersey Advanced Practice Nurse License
  • New Jersey CDS and DEA Registrations
  • Current BLS and ACLS
  • IV Certification

 

Englewood Health job postings provide a salary range to comply with New Jersey Law. The rate of pay for each position will be determined based on a variety of factors including the candidate's relevant experience, qualifications, skills, etc. The minimum salary does not include bonuses/incentives, differential pay or other forms of compensation. In addition to the salary range, eligible employees may receive comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and other wellness resources.

Salary range: $55.00/hour - $75.00/hour
