Job Summary:
Englewood Health is seeking a full-time NURSE PRACTITIONER (APRN) or PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT (PA) to join a very enthusiastic team in the Department of Colorectal Surgery. The ideal candidate would excel in communication, interpersonal skills, precise documentation, and clinical expertise in the management of all phases of care for the colorectal patient. The midlevel provider will plan, direct and coordinate key operations of the department and will work hand-in-hand with the Physicians, Medical Assistants and Scheduling Coordinators to provide the best outcomes for patients. They will assist with managing the staff and workflow to contribute to the optimal performance of the team. The Department of Surgery at Englewood Health currently performs a wide range of colorectal surgery and surgical oncology cases per year, and is experiencing steady growth. The APN or PA functions in a medical support role to the physician in the provision of medical care, and works under the direction, supervision and responsibility of a physician. Appointment of APN's and PA's and the duties and responsibility approved for each appointee are governed by the pertinent sections of the Public Health Law; the Education Law; the Official Compilation of Codes, Rules, Regulations of State of New Jersey; Hospital and Medical Staff Bylaws; and policies, rules, regulations of the Department of Surgery.

Job Essentials:
- 1-3 years of experience as a midlevel provider preferred
Education requirements:
- For PAs: Bachelor's Required, Master's Degree Preferred
- For NPs: Master's Degree Required
License/Certification/Registry:
- If Nurse Practitioner (APRN): Current NJ State Advanced Practice Nurse License, current BLS and ACLS, current CDS and DEA licenses.
- If Physician Assistant (PA): Current NJ PA license and certification by NCCPA, current BLS and ACLS, current CDS and DEA licenses.

The rate of pay for each position will be determined based on a variety of factors including the candidate's relevant experience, qualifications, skills, etc. The minimum rate does not include bonuses/incentives, differential pay or other forms of compensation.
