**Hybrid Opportunity Available**
ENSCO, Inc. is seeking a Human Resources (HR) Business Partner to contribute proactive guidance to our team members and leaders on employee relations, performance management and workplace conflict issues, support local recruitment initiatives, as well as facilitate organizational change to build employee engagement for our high-performing culture. 

  • Handle HR tasks for the Mission Systems Group.
  • Perform as site HR Representative for our Florida offices.
  • Collect HR documents and send to Corporate HR for filing.
  • Coordinate all HR changes by collecting completed forms, getting correct approval signatures, and ensuring data is complete and accurate.
  • Answer questions about HR policies and procedures and referring to a specialist when needed.
  • Research and keep up to date on Compliance and Legal Changes.
  • Complete I-9 Verifications and E-Verify.
  • Onboard, offboard, and other employee life cycle management processes.
  • Responsible for administering new hire orientations.
  • Assist corporate HR with introductory and annual review processes.
  • Manage new hire processes for Mission Systems Group
  • Assist managers to address performance management concerns by taking appropriate steps in compliance with disciplinary action process and policies.
  • Cultivate and nurture relationships with team members and leadership through coaching, onsite visits, and employee activities. 
  • Participate as a collaborative member of the HR Team, supporting or leading companywide projects, functions, or programs as assigned.
  • Contribute to the overall achievement of HR goals, objectives, and strategies.


 

Qualifications

  • PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification preferred

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource management or equivalent
  • Minimum three years Human Resources experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of federal, state, and local employment laws
  • Must be self-directed and motivated, and able to work with minimal supervision, exercising critical thinking and strong independent judgment to resolve issues. 
  • Able to demonstrate sound judgment and experience assessing risk relative to the company.
  • Consistently work with integrity to develop strong and trusting relationships while handling confidential information with discretion. 
  • Excellent verbal, written and strong interpersonal communications.
  • Ability to remain tactful, calm, and persuasive in controversial and/or confrontational situations.
  • Local and some distant travel is required for this position, including but not limited to out of state locations you may support. 
  • Must be a U.S. citizen
