Position Description

 

ENSCO, Inc., Mission Systems Group (MSG) is seeking a Mid-Level Analyst in support of the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense, Research and Engineering, Critical Technologies contract. The position is located in the DC Metro area [Pentagon City, VA].

  • Support technical analysis of prospective and ongoing projects and demonstrations of emerging, innovative technologies.

  • Develop and support Science and Technology roadmaps that drive critical resource decisions.

  • Experience in operations, acquisition, and portfolio management.

  • Interface directly with government customers.

  • Evaluate new and emerging technology to address key technology modernization.

  • Provide subject matter expertise and analysis to Government decision makers.

  • Analyze the state-of-the-art and emerging technical solutions to address Science and Technology Objectives.

  • Coordinate activities with other government teams and appropriate organizations to produce finished integrated products.

  • Perform other assigned tasks to ensure U.S. technology development stays ahead of our potential adversaries.

  • Provide support to project management, analysis, and funding recommendations.

Qualifications Required:

  • A bachelor's degree in engineering, scientific, technical, management, or related discipline, or equivalent experience.

  • 5+ years' experience with project management and analysis of prototypes.

  • Ability to synthesize vast amounts of complex technical data into senior executive level information.

  • Has technical background in using C4ISR technologies in NC3 environment.

  • Strong analysis and mathematical skills.

  • Experience with OSD processes and procedures related to supported tasks, including preparing technical briefs, presentations, packages, and DoD/Congressional-level correspondence.

  • Experience preparing presentations and other visualization forms to communicate results and artifacts to varied audiences.

  • Experience in prototyping solutions, R&E modernization, and joint warfighting concepts.

  • A minimum of four years of DoD experience in technology development and maturation, project management.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)

  • SCIF 5 days a week, with occasional flexibility to work from home if needed.

  • ACTIVE DOD TS/SCI CLEARANCE AND MUST BE A UNITED STATES CITIZEN

Qualifications Desired:

  • Master of Science in engineering, scientific, technical, management, or related discipline.

  • 8+ years experience with project management and analysis of prototypes.

Salary Range $87,794.86—$158,112.57 USD
