Our services include: natural gas gathering, treating, processing, transportation and storage; NGL transportation, fractionation, storage and import and export terminals; crude oil gathering, transportation, storage and terminals; petrochemical and refined products transportation, storage and terminals; and a marine transportation business that operates primarily on the United States inland and Intracoastal Waterway systems. The partnership's assets include approximately 50,000 miles of pipelines; 260 million barrels of storage capacity for NGLs, crude oil, refined products and petrochemicals; and 14 billion cubic feet of natural gas storage capacity.

The Senior Environmental Scientist/Engineer is responsible for Federal and State air rule compliance and reporting.  These responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Preparing compliance reports as required by Federal regulations and NMED GCP, NSR and Title 5 permits.
  • Manage emission testing program and submit reports.
  • Oversee Federal and State LDAR programs.
  • Oversee operations and assure compliance activities are completed and records are kept.
  • Identify needs, and collaboratively develop, new permit applications.
  • Conduct training for operations employees.


Requirements

The successful candidate will meet the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or other relevant technical field is preferred.
  • 5 or more years of experience in a compliance or regulatory capacity in the energy or related industries is required.  Experience with industry Consent Decrees is a plus.   
  • Experience with Method 21 LDAR and OGI is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of midstream energy industry facilities, such as pipelines (gas, liquids, and natural gas liquids), pump and compressor stations; gas processing facilities, gasoline distribution terminals is preferred.
  • Mobility to walk and access field assets and Right-of-Way (ROW), as well as the ability to lift 40 lbs. is required.
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 25% of the time is required.
