The Lead Environmental Compliance Specialist will develop, coordinate, and audit environmental and damage prevention systems throughout the corporation.  Ensure that programs and processes are in place for efficient and effective achievement of company objectives related to Environmental compliance and Damage Prevention through audits.  Identify deficiencies in programs and practices and document those deficiencies.  Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Coordinate and conduct Environmental Compliance and Damage Prevention audits at company-owned and operated facilities to verify compliance with government regulations and Enterprise Products policies and procedures.
  • Prepare audit reports to document findings.
  • Identifying deficiencies and opportunities for improvement through audits and assisting in developing resolution strategies.
  • Create, develop, and improve working relationships between Environmental, EHS&T, Operations, Engineering, Commercial, and others.


Requirements

The successful candidate will meet the following qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent years of experience is required.
  • 8 years of relevant experience in the midstream energy industry is required.
  • Working knowledge of midstream energy industry facilities such as pipelines (gas, liquids, and natural gas liquids), pump and compressor stations; gas and liquid measurement facilities; above and below ground storage; liquid terminals, gas processing facilities, or natural gas liquids fractionation is required.
  • Must be able to travel up to 50%.
