JOB OVERVIEW: The Account Manager – Service Center Liaison serves as a critical link between clients, internal teams, and carrier service centers. This role combines traditional account management responsibilities with specialized liaison duties to ensure seamless service delivery, client satisfaction, and operational efficiency.  

LOCATION: Carmel, Indiana-Hybrid- 3 days in office 

 

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Client & Policy Servicing 
• Process applications, policies, endorsements, binders, certificates, audits, and other service-related items. 
• Assist clients with policy coverage questions, identifying potential gaps and recommending solutions. 
• Conduct renewals and retention efforts, collaborating with Producers to present optimal coverage options. 
• Maintain accurate client files and documentation in agency systems. 
Service Center Liaison Responsibilities 
• Act as the primary contact for escalations and inquiries from service centers, clients, and carriers. 
• Monitor shared inboxes (e.g., MSSCL, MSM) and route or respond to communications appropriately. 
• Coordinate with carrier service centers to resolve issues, provide feedback, and ensure timely processing. 
• Track and report on SLA issues by carrier for remediation and improvement. 
• Review books of business to ensure accurate coding at both client and policy levels. 
• Coordinate re-marketing of non-renewals and manage documentation accordingly. 
Marketing & Placement 
• Collaborate with the Placement Department and Producers to transition new business. 
• Submit renewal applications and follow up on quotes and policies. 
• Negotiate premiums and commissions with underwriters and wholesalers. 
• Bind and issue policies via carrier platforms.
Communication & Collaboration 
• Serve as a liaison between internal teams and external partners to maintain high service standards. 
• Communicate process updates, contact changes, and best practices across regions. 
• Attend virtual and in-person carrier service center meetings as needed. 
• Intake of phone calls from clients that may need additional guidance or troubleshooting service centers 
• Communicate any escalated problems to the Department Manager to assist. 
Documentation & Compliance 
• Ensure all actions, downloads, and tasks are completed and documented in the AMS. 
• Follow corporate documentation procedures and maintain up-to-date records. 
• Close the loop on all communications and ensure follow-through on all service items.  

WHAT YOU'LL BRING: 

• High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred. 
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a brokerage or carrier environment. 
• Experience with agency management systems and Microsoft Office Suite. 
Licenses 
• Indiana Property & Casualty License required. 
• Valid Driver's License. 
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills. 
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. 
• Detail-oriented with excellent time management. 
• Proficient in problem-solving and decision-making. 
• Collaborative team player with the ability to work independently. 

 

COMPENSATION: 

The base pay offered will be determined based on your experience, skills, training, certifications and education, while also considering internal equity and market data.
