The Analyst in the National Benefits Operations Team will provide high level metrics reporting expertise in a fast paced, evolving environment while maintaining a high standard of professionalism and quality of work. The Analyst must have sound technical and organizational skills, a capacity to learn through experience, ability to identify opportunities for improvement and a strong commitment to meet agreed upon timeframes and deadlines. The Analyst must have the ability to provide high quality, accurate and timely support for Employee Benefits (EB) operation initiatives, collaborating with team members as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Create monthly/quarterly BSG Utilization reports for EB Leadership.
  • Time Log reporting from BSG Ticket System.
  • Work on EB projects including but not limited to Benchmarking Surveys, Vendor Management Database, Financial Reporting.
  • Act as the primary technical resource for our National Survey Team.
  • Input/update client data to and from Benefit Point.
  • Create/Maintain Benefit Helpdesk Dashboard Reporting Templates.
  • Analyze/Update data from multiple spreadsheets.
  • Generate reports from Digitel/Shortel spreadsheets.
  • Create and Report Client Team survey results using Survey Monkey or other survey applications.
  • Update Intranet with relevant content.
  • Work with and assist other EB Teams as needed.

 

KEY COMPETENCIES:

  • Excellent troubleshooting, decision making, critical thinking, project management and problem-solving skills
  • Strong analytical & quantitative skills
  • Advanced knowledge of various Microsoft Office programs to include Excel, Access, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint with the ability to create templates for other team members.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (highly skilled in advanced functions usage, pivot tables, macros etc.)
  • Knowledge of Visual Basic is a plus.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with various team members.
  • Strong attention to detail and time management abilities.
  • Strong ability to multi-task and assign priority.
  • Ability to work effectively and efficiently both with and without direct supervision
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and demands
  • Must have high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: 

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent educational training or business experience
  • 3 - 4 years in data analytics and financial reporting
  • Benefits experience a plus

TRAVEL:

Travel is limited, although some projects may require out-of-the-area and overnight travel.
