The Training & Onboarding Manager - Client Services Team's (Senior Manager of Team Development / CSC's) responsibilities include the following areas: training and onboarding of the Insurance Client Service Coordinator and intern teams and providing day-to-day support to our Property & Casualty team and our clients. This includes developing and maintaining onboarding and educational training programs for the intern and Client Service Coordinator team members as well as assisting clients with various online service platforms and acting as an internal accountability partner for EPIC's value-added services.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
- Candidates experienced in and with proven success of creating and overseeing employee recruiting, onboarding, training & development plans, specific to the business. This is not an HR department learning & development position; this is a role within the business unit who will train & develop junior team members.
- Preferred but not required: Current insurance industry experience.
- Preferred but not required: Experience training & onboarding new college graduates, or junior-level employees.
- Dynamic, proven leaders who thrive on collaboration, valuing accountability, and being committed to excellence.
- Candidates with strong, professional communication skills and relationship-building skills – both written and verbal.
- Positive and outgoing disposition, eager to work as a team but also functions well working independently.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assists in the renewal, external marketing, loss analysis, and ongoing service to clients; prepares RFPs and client presentations as well as other deliverables.
- Supports the education and development of team members and interns through training, coaching, and mentorship.
- Builds strong relationships, navigate challenges effectively, and supports the growth and development of each team member.
- Remains objective, even-tempered, and poised under pressure to create a steadying influence for the team. By exemplifying our core values, inspires others to do the same, fostering a culture of integrity and collaboration.
- Onboards new team members including initial training on EPIC systems and processes.
- Oversees and facilitates ongoing training, education, and support of team members on EPIC systems and processes as well as on insurance related topics.
- Effectively allocates day-to-day tasks and special projects to team members to ensure appropriate capacity and work load of team members.
- Coaches team members on areas of concern including work quality, attention to detail, and attendance.
- Assists in goal setting including career pathing and training priorities for team members.
- Participates in annual review evaluations and promotion considerations for team members.
- As directed, ensures that internal/external inquiries to the online services are responded to and resolved within established guidelines while providing excellent customer service;
- Upon renewal/onboarding of an account, determines services to be provided with input from Production and Marketing;
- Communicates to individual team members the assigned responsibilities and required timeline related to individual client services plans;
- Assimilates data from multiple departments into a cohesive deliverable;
- Participates in external marketing campaigns as requested;
- Assists in day-to-day service needs of assigned accounts;
- Delivers coaching and development support to team members to enhance performance and professional growth;
- Assists in the creation and delivery of internal training materials and sessions;
- Other office duties and special projects as assigned;
PERSONAL AND ORGANIZATIONAL DEVELOPMENT:
- Sets priorities and manages workflow for self and team to ensure all goals are met;
- Maintains cordial and effective relationships with all parties.
- Maintains up-to-date proposals, workflow logs, and updates all required documentation and records;
- Interacts with others effectively utilizing good communication skills, cooperating purposefully, and providing information and guidance as needed to achieve the business goals of the Team/Company;
- Stays informed regarding industry information, trends, new product/program developments, coverages, and technology to continually improve service, work product, knowledge, and performance;
- Projects a professional image in action and appearance;
- Contributes to a culture of continuous learning by participating in and facilitating educational sessions and development opportunities;
WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
- Must have working knowledge of a variety of Microsoft Office computer software applications to include Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and presentation software;
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Property and Casualty Insurance License and other relevant designations such as CRIS and ERIS;
- Ability to work with and maintain confidential information in a discreet and professional manner;
- Solid problem-solving, analytical abilities, and critical thinking skillset;
- Strong attention to detail;
- Ability to work both on a team and independently; with or without direct supervision;
- Performing with effective planning and priority setting. Ability to manage several projects simultaneously while working under pressure to meet deadlines;
- Strong interpersonal communication skills, both written and oral;
- Position continually requires teamwork, demonstrated poise, tact, and diplomacy;
- Bachelor's degree required;
- 3+ years' experience in leadership, management, coaching, or teaching required.
COMPENSATION:
The base pay offered will be determined based on your experience, skills, training, certifications and education, while also considering internal equity and market data.
