Traveler must be available to work every other weekend/holiday.
Requirements:
- OH License
- 1.5 years' experience
- Must have SD/PCU experience to be considered
- Must have vent experience and EPIC experience
- Must be able to read and interpret strips
- BLS
- ACLS
- Some level 1 or 2 preferred
- Travel experience preferred
- MUST show some 1:5 ratio experience in the Work History section for SD or PCU
- Targeted patient ratios are 1:4, but they can be up to 1:5-6
- Pass an online EKG tele competency assessment before starting the assignment
- Nurses will be fitted for N95 prior to working on the HRRU unit unless PAPR is offered/needed
**For 48-hour contract, OT is paid out after 48 hours**
Their application MUST show some 1:5 ratio experience in the Work History section for SD or PCU, otherwise, the managers will not review it. Be sure this is added to the application prior to submitting in order to avoid delay. Also note, ICU exp does not count towards SD/PCU exp at this facility, therefore, you MUST have SD/PCU experience to be considered.**Unit is trialing team nursing where two nurses and a PCT partner together to care for a group of patients. The goal of this model is to divide the work and not the patients ultimately, improving both the workload and patient care. During this trial, nurses may function in either team nursing or primary nursing depending on the status of the trial.

Unit Details:Working with Tele/drips/ventsPatient population primarily consists of COPD, CHF, Pneumonia, Flu, Sepsis, Diabetic Ketoacidosis and Post Covid. With the support of Respiratory Therapist, we care for trach, vents, bipaps and high-oxygen requirements. We see insulin drips for both our DKA and DKA population as well as heparin Cardizem and sporadic other drips. Trach/vents on unit no orally intubated patients.• Navy Blue Scrubs
