Job Summary

Summary:

The Associate Principle is driving the production technology pre-dev and industrialization production engineering process for our Embedded Power organization, accountable for driving the Embedded Power Products manufacturing solutions to meet industrialization requirements. The role oversees and refines the prototypes and industrialization stage products manufacturing process, equipment/automation solutions, fixtures needs and flex system integration. The role ensures that the manufacturing solutions adhere to the UPH, Capacity, and Quality requirements. The Associate Principle role collaborates closely with the R&D team, Test Development, industrialization engineering team, quality team and Site Manufacturing team to successfully implement the appropriate production solutions for mass production.

What a typical day looks like:

  • Production technology pre-dev roadmap

  • Manufacturing process Development

  • Product Manufacturing Process Mapping

  • Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Automation (DFA) Review, as well as other DFx review

  • PFMEA co-driver

  • Development of Suitable manufacturing process and Automation Solutions to Align with Site Requirements

  • Development of Robust and Cost-Effective Manufacturing Fixtures

  • Integration of Flex System (ERP/MES) and Digitalization for New Product Development

  •  (FAT/SAT) Verification of Custom-Made Equipment

  • Develop pre-deve process and industrialization production engineering process in product realization

The experience we're looking to add to our team:

  • Bachelor's degree, Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 10 to 15 years of experience in NPI/Industrialization, Engineering leader or a similar role.

  • Strong understanding of manufacturing and development environments

  • Ability to efficiently work in a fast-moving multi-site / multi geography environments

  • To be both a team leader and an individual contributor

  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

  • Proficient in the SMT, assembly and testing processes of power products

  • Proficient in the field of Manufacturing Automation solutions

  • Knowledge of manufacturing process control digitalization setup will be advantageous

  • Experience in fixtures design and materials selection

  • Strong leadership skill

  • Good communication skill in both Chinese and English
