Job summary:

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add an EH&S Engineer located in Aguascalientes Campus.

The EH&S Engineer ensures compliance with applicable safety and environmental standards.

What a typical day looks like:

• Conduct hazard and risk assessments to ensure workplace safety.
• Perform accident investigations and analyses to identify root causes and corrective actions.
• Carry out risk evaluations on machinery and equipment.
• Manage safety performance indicators, analyze data, and develop preventive safety strategies and action plans.
• Conduct production floor inspections to identify hazardous conditions and unsafe behaviors.
• Coordinate work teams to ensure compliance with Safety and Health requirements established by NOM standards and client expectations.
• Oversee and follow up on the closure of safety observations resulting from worker participation and consultation.
• Release and supervise hazardous work (work at heights, hot work, work in confined spaces, electrical work, etc.)

The experience we're looking to add to our team:

• Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or a related field.

• Intermediate-Advance of English.
• Knowledge of regulations, laws, and requirements established by authorities such as the Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare (STPS) and Civil Protection.
• Familiarity with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.
• Experience in accident analysis and implementation of corrective actions.
• Background in metal-mechanical operations.
• Knowledge of functional safety in machinery.
