Job SummaryTo support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a EH&S Engineer located in Guadalajara, North Campus.
Reporting to the EH&S Manager; the EH&S Engineer will be in charge of developing, implementing and monitoring company environmental safety programs and policies to ensure compliance with local, state and federal regulations.

What a typical day looks like:
- Consults with all departments on design and use of equipment, fire prevention and safety programs
- Examines plans and specifications for new machinery or equipment to define if all safety precautions have been included.
- Tours plant to inspect fire and safety equipment, machinery and facilities to identify and correct potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Define requirements for safety clothing and devices, and designs, builds and installs or directs installation of safety devices on machinery.
- Conducts or coordinates safety training to educate workers about emergency acknowledge, safety policies, laws and practices.
- Investigates industrial accidents to minimize recurrence and prepares accident reports.
- Conducts air quality tests for presence of harmful gases and vapors.
- In charge of identifying health and safety hazards and recommending corrective actions.
- Serves as internal consultant to business units on ergonomics, hazardous materials, industrial hygiene and fire and chemical safety matters.
- Audits business units.
- Interfaces with outside vendors, contractors and engineers regarding facilities, chemicals and other workplace health and safety related matters.
- Compiles and submits safety reports.
- Administers workers compensation, OSHA 2000 log and return to work program
The experience we're looking to add to our team:
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in Environmental, Health & Safety (EH&S) within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of electrical safety regulations and standards.
- Experience working with electrical systems ranging from 69V to 115V.
- Knowledge of electrical hazard identification, risk assessment, and mitigation.
- Experience interpreting and developing electrical diagrams, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Exposure to industrial electrical and electromechanical equipment.
- Experience supervising personnel and contractors in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of accident prevention, safety programs, and regulatory compliance.
- Intermediate English proficiency (written and verbal).

Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
- Experience conducting safety audits and investigations.
- Familiarity with OSHA, NFPA, and other applicable electrical safety standards.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
