Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Global Business Excellence Manager – Supply Chain (m/f/d) preferably located in Central Europe.

Reporting to the Head of Supply Chain Embedded and Critical Power, the Global Business Excellence Manager – Supply Chain (m/f/d) role will be in charge of process optimization and facilitation of Lean Transformation activities through Kaizen and Yokoten across sites & customers globally.


 

What a typical day looks like:

  • Create and validate processes/standards based on standard work and Business Process;
  • In charge of eliminating waste and creating value by reducing variation in the processes to achieve sustainable results throughout the organization and segment;
  • Utilize Continuous Improvement (Kaizen) techniques, initiate process improvements, cycle time reductions, cost reductions and other activities aimed at reducing/eliminating non-value-added activities in the process;
  • Drive & Yokoten the identified best practices based on the accord timelines and diligently participate in the selection and executions of lean and six sigma projects;
  • Conduct lean and six sigma training and accelerate the proliferation of Lean Continuous Improvement culture throughout the organization by co-guiding and co-facilitating Lean Deployment;
  • Formulate and propose strategy of Lean for assigned special project/segment/customer priorities and drive projects based on business initiatives and customer needs;
  • Act as a change and transformation agent. Coach and facilitate Lean Transformation activities through Kaizen workshops and Small Group Activities;
  • Applying and deploying Flex Lean Enterprise Values across the entire organization and incentive a participation and training of Flex Employees, Suppliers and Customers.

The experience we're looking to add to our team:

  • Typically requires 8+ years of Business Excellence Manager & Supply Chain experience in an international & complex Matrix Organization;
  • Six Sigma Black Belt with experience of conducting lean and six sigma trainings to accelerate the proliferation of Lean Continuous Improvement (Kaizen, Yokoten) culture;
  • Knowledge of Management skills and technical experience on Finance, Materials and Operations activities;
  • Ability to execute detailed expertise in very complex situations and multiple sites & areas;
  • Excellence communication skills in English to successfully influence external and internal stakeholders to drive & motivate change;
  • Readiness to travel ~ 30%.
