Job SummaryReporting to the Director, Design & Engineering, the Hardware-in-the-Loop System Engineer role involves accountability for designing, defining, and implementing Hardware-in-the-Loop system including the FPGA / uC firmware and real time model for emulation of power electronics systems.
What a typical day looks like:
- Defining system specifications, input/output processes and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility.
- Developing subsystems of Hardware-in-the-Loop system (HIL)
- Developing and integrating firmware for HIL
- Developing and verifying the Real time system emulation model
- Verifying the HIL system
- Tracking technical issues and driving resolution for HIL system
The experience we're looking to add to our team:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field
- Experience in a similar role
- Work experience with power products is a plus
- Knowledge of financial management relating to systems integration
- Excellent command of English, both written and spoken
