Reporting to the Director, Design & Engineering, the Hardware-in-the-Loop System Engineer role involves accountability for designing, defining, and implementing Hardware-in-the-Loop system including the FPGA / uC firmware and real time model for emulation of power electronics systems.

What a typical day looks like:

• Defining system specifications, input/output processes and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility.

• Developing subsystems of Hardware-in-the-Loop system (HIL)
• Developing and integrating firmware for HIL
• Developing and verifying the Real time system emulation model
• Verifying the HIL system
• Tracking technical issues and driving resolution for HIL system

The experience we're looking to add to our team:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field
• Experience in a similar role
• Work experience with power products is a plus
• Knowledge of financial management relating to systems integration
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken
