To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add an IT - Operations Manager located in Sriperumbudur.
What a typical day looks like:
- Plan, prioritize, and manage IT help and maintenance activities to ensure that organization's information systems function reliably and that IT resources are used effectively.
- Research, evaluate, and recommend hardware and software products that will enhance the capabilities of the organization's information systems.
- Liaise with functional or operational area managers to recognize their current and future information needs and define how information systems should be installed, configured, and maintained to best meet these needs.
- Guide, direct, evaluate, and develop a team of information systems professionals and help staff to ensure that the organization's information systems are hold up effectively and within budget.
- Direct daily department activities in order to maximize system utilization and help business needs as it pertains to a site's IT infrastructure. Examples include IMAC, VMAC, and acknowledging to Help Desk tickets.
- IT infrastructure includes (but is not limited to) LAN, WAN, telephony, server administration, desktop help, printers and barcode scanners.
- Manage business continuity and recovery of company's information systems, including needs investigation, design, plan development, implementation and documentation.
- Select, develop and evaluate personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
- Provide technical &/or project business for mid to large-scale projects.
- Develops, implements and monitors management information systems policies and controls to ensure data accuracy, security and legal and regulatory compliance.
- Manages computer operation scheduling, backup, storage and retrieval functions.
- Implement appropriate HR strategies and actions to recruit and retain a qualified and motivated workforce
- Ensure the integrity and security of enterprise data on systems across Hybrid Cloud environments in accordance with business needs and industry best-practices regarding privacy, security and regulatory compliance.
- Ensure proper knowledge on software/license deployment to align with Flex software and license management strategies.
- Working with various team to execute and participate in internal and external audit activities.
- Ensure and enforce compliance with IT policies & procedures to give guidance for resolution making and provides a guide to follow for a day-to-day activity.
- Implement appropriate HR strategies and actions to recruit and retain a qualified and motivated workforce.
The experience we're looking to add to our team:
- Typically requires a Bachelors degree or equivalent systems experience. Master's degree preferred.
- Typically requires 6 years of information technology experience, including supervision.
- Strong organizational, presentation, and customer service skills. Demonstrates expert functional, technical and people and/or process management skills as well as customer (external and internal) relationship skills.
- Impacts the medium-term direction and operational success of the function.
- Executes and provides input to functional plans and goals for the site.
- Creates functional processes or technologies. Has experience in guiding major initiatives and provides input to those initiatives.
- May have P&L control for accounts/projects.
- Exercise singly in methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results; may propose/ provide input to defining methods, standards, policies and procedures.
- Facilitates team in making group resolutions. Makes resolutions for the function and the site. Resolutions may affect site.
- May mentor, coach and quide other employees and/or may develop employees at other levels.
