Job SummaryTo support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Manufacturing Engineer located in Juarez Norte.
Reporting to the Engineering Services Manager the Manufacturing Engineer's role involves:
What a typical day looks like:
- Plans, directs, and coordinates manufacturing processes by providing technical support in the development, implementation, and maintenance of manufacturing methods by performing the following duties.
- Design's manufacturing processes within schedule and budgetary parameters.
- Develops, evaluates, and improves manufacturing methods.
- Analyzes and plans workforce utilization, space requirements, and workflow, and designs layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency.
- Confers with production group concerning product design and tooling to ensure efficient production methods.
- Coordinates with customers to determine product specifications and design changes and responds to their request.
- Estimates production times, staffing requirements, and related costs to provide information for management decisions.
- Confers with management, engineering, and other staff regarding manufacturing capabilities, production schedules, and other considerations to facilitate production processes.
- Applies statistical methods to estimate future manufacturing requirements and potential.
The experience we're looking to add to our team:
Engineering studies Bachelors Degree.
Experience in process engineering wiring
IATF certification
Intermediate English
Experience with automotive wiring harnesses
Experience in processes (automatic and semi-automatic stamping, sleeve burning, braiding, ultrasonic welding, molding)
Experience in high-voltage processes (automatic de-warping, automatic component insertion, ferrules, etc.)
Process flows (layout) 5. Equipment loads/Equipment capacity studies
New business quoting
Workstation design (AutoCAD/Solid/Works)
Validations
Continuous improvement (workload optimization)
Flowcharts & PFMEA
