To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Sr Material Planning Analyst located in Guadalajara, North Campus

Reporting to the Materials Manager the Sr Material Planning Analyst role involves Responsible for developing, directing and coordinating material planning activities. Enhance customer service levels possible by balancing supply and demand.

What a typical day looks like:

  • Directs the team in the use of best practices in the daily execution of finished goods and WIP planning
  • Responsible for the analysis of Excesses and Obsoletes, as well as the collection and recovery with the client through the analysis of Waterfalls.
  • Manages, coaches and mentors a team. Works with the team on continuous development and performance management.
  • Directs activities of Planners to ensure that inventory level and turn goals are achieved, including reduction of back orders and enhancing customer service.
  • Meets with Senior Management to obtain strategic information that could impact the forecast. Works with team to modify the forecast for historical and environmental events. Works closely with different departments to accurately develop and maintain an accurate forecast.
  • Hold cross-functional meetings to review the Supply and Demand plan
  • Communication with the client for material issues and generation of reports such as What if analysis, CTB, and Charges for PPVs.
  • Review issues and make recommendations that deal with long-term constraints, customer service levels, inventory targets, the current forecast, and backlog.

The experience we're looking to add to our team:

  • BS degree in supply chain management, logistics or business administration
  • Advanced experience in a similar position in the electronics manufacturing industry
  • Advance experience in planning and manufacturing, including supervision.
  • Strong data analysis knowledge
  • Strong MRP Knowledge
  • Advanced English
  • Advanced Excel
  • Assertive communication skills to internal and external customer: verbal and written.
  • Able to build strong relationships.
  • knowledge and management of PCBs
  • I work under pressure
  • Results oriented
  • Direct materials management experience for factories preferred.
  • Ability to work as a team member and/or a team leader if necessary
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and work well with all levels of management and staff
  • Strong experience on efficient control
  • Strong organizational a time management skills
  • Experience with databases such as Kinaxis is a Plus.
  • Backlog Management.
  • CTO/BTO Management desired.
