Job SummaryTo support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add Materials Scientist Engineer located in Guadalajara, North Campus.
Reporting to the Process Engineering Manager, will be responsible for process engineering capabilities focused on cost, quality and delivery improvements to support a manufacturing organization.
What a typical day looks like:
- Strong problem-solving abilities to analyze material performance, conduct experiments, and interpret data. Critical thinking is essential for developing new materials or improving existing ones.
- Involved in R&D activities, working on the design, synthesis, and testing of new materials for various applications in industries like aerospace, automotive, electronics, and healthcare.
- Works closely with other engineers and scientists, often in cross-disciplinary teams, to solve complex engineering problems and innovate.
- Understands industry standards and regulations related to materials usage and testing, ensuring compliance in all projects.
- Ability to present complex information clearly to non-technical stakeholders and write technical reports.
- A commitment to ongoing learning and staying abreast of the latest advancements in materials science and electronic manufacturing technologies.
The experience we're looking to add to our team:
- Communication Fluent in English 90% or higher
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to travel abroad for periods of up to 4 weeks continuously
- Flexibility to extend work hours when critical projects need to be completed
- BA/BS/MBA or equivalent work experience.
- Experience in manufacturing electronic.
- Experience in Reliability Projection Plans, statistical strong background, (black belt preferred).
