Job SummaryTo support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Materials supervisor located in Guadalajara North
Reporting to the Production Planning Supervisor the Materials supervisor is responsible for Drives KPI analysis, reporting, and process improvements, supporting decision-making through data visualization and cross-functional collaboration.
Leads coordination across teams, manages new process implementations (including NPI), and ensures effective communication, execution, and operational efficiency.
What a typical day looks like:
- Development of two- and three-axis charts, as well as trend analysis graphs.
- Development, analysis, and tracking of KPIs.
- Lead and coordinate Cross-Functional Team (CFT) meetings.
- Prepare meeting minutes and follow up on action item closure.
- Effective communication with Service departments and external warehouses.
- Timely escalation to EHS, Manufacturing, and Quality departments.
- Follow-up with suppliers for tooling procurement management.
- Management, implementation, and documentation of new processes, including NPI.
- Experience in new process launches.
- Personnel management and team coordination experience.
- Availability to travel.
- Proficiency in PowerPoint to create clear and professional presentations.
- Nice to have: experience with BAAN.
- Knowledge of warehousing processes such as picking, receiving, CCI, E&O, Kanban, and SMKT.
The experience we're looking to add to our team:
- Experience in data entry and use of office software, including word processing, spreadsheets, presentation tools, and database systems.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business publications, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and the general public.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to calculate rates, ratios, and percentages, and to create and interpret bar charts.
- Ability to solve practical problems and handle a variety of concrete variables in situations with limited standardization.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
