Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a MES and IT Specialist located in Tczew, Poland.

Reporting to the IT Support Manager, the MES and IT Specialist role involves performing operational processes and procedures to ensure all IT services, systems, and infrastructure meet business needs. Ensuring the efficient operation of key IT systems in the shopfloor area. Supporting users in the operation of infrastructure, devices and ICT systems.

What a typical day looks like:

  • Prepare the MES system for new projects and provide service support for assigned projects.
  • Prepare Standard Operating procedures for the day-to-day maintenance of the applications and underlying systems.
  • Proactive monitoring of enterprise systems to ensure they are adequately sized to meet the dynamic requirements from the business solutions.
  • Establish clear communication channels and ensure proper feedback mechanisms are in place with customers, peers and cross functional teams.
  • Propose system enhancements (software and hardware updates) that will improve the performance and reliability of the system.
  • Ensure that business application(s) are performing, scalable, usable, and available by defining help and monitoring processes, defining, and driving SLAs (Service Level Agreement), conducting system tests.
  • Install, configure, administer, and maintain business application systems and associated hardware, in accordance with technical specifications to ensure systems function reliably.
  • Install network infrastructure in accordance with the documentation provided.
  • Working with various team to effectively gather their requirements and allow you to prepare detailed program specifications and then coordinate system implementation.
  • Communicate with system users, vendor hold up and investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve system problems so that user problems are resolved quickly and satisfactorily.

The experience we're looking to add to our team:

  • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree, studies in progress or equivalent experience and training.
  • Ideally requires a minimum of 1-2 years of related experience.
  • Basic understanding of ITIL processes (incident management, change management).
  • Knowledge of MS SQL
  • Knowledge of LAN/WAN networks and network protocols
  • Knowledge of MS Office and MS Windows operating systems, Linux will be an advantage.
  • Knowledge of English at a communicative level.
  • General understanding of system architectural concepts and methodologies.
  • Basics of Troubleshooting, Log analysis and data analytics.
  • Collaboration skills and passion for technical challenges and operations support.
  • Having ability to learn and adopt with fast execution.
  • Solve problem through applying best-in-class tools and methodology.
  • Ability to proritize.
