To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Site Engineering Manager located in Suzhou.

This position focused on Technology, NPI, Process Excellence, Failure Analysis, and Smart Manufacturing Transformation.

Reporting to the Engineering Director, the Engineering Manager role involves…

What a typical day looks like:

• Manage a team of engineers and technicians to establish and maintain manufacturing control systems for equipment, process, product, off-the-shelf automation and box build.
• Design an optimized manufacturing processes flow to meet customer product quality and delivery.
• Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods driving on quality, cost and yield improvement through Kaizen, Six Sigma, lean activity;
• Evaluate and plan workforce utilization, space requirements, workflow, workspace for maximum efficiency and standard automation implementation.
• Responsible for maintaining and improving all common equipment/processes related to efficiency, cycle times, capacity and capabilities.
• Coordinate with customers to define product specifications, Dfx engagement and design changes.
• Participate in early NPI involvement & new capabilities readiness for mass production.
• Applies FMEA/statistical methods to estimate future manufacturing requirements and potential risk.
• Grow site engineering capability through working with global engineering team;
• Boost smart manufacturing deployment through AI, RPA development
• Complete other tasks assigned by engineering director

The experience we're looking to add to our team:

• Bachelor degree or above
• Above 12 years' experience in electronics manufacturing industry, like industrial, healthcare, energy storage field
• Above 5 years' team management experience.
• Skillful in SMT process, backend and with experience  in box build process.
• NPI and Failure Analysis experience, through DMAIC, DoE, Fishbone analysis, etc.
• Good team work spirit, collaborate with quality, test and advanced engineering
• Good English skills both in written  and spoken.
• SIRI, CMMM assessor will be bonus
• Six Sigma Green/Black Belt will be bonus
• Knowledge on AI driven smart manufacturing solution: like machine to machine connectivity, real time factory dashboard, Predictive Maintenance, etc.
