To support our extraordinary teams, which build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Product Engineer located in Guadalajara, North Campus.

Reporting to the Product Engineer Manager, the Product Engineer role involves providing coordination of new product and EC introduction activities and support for ongoing manufacturing activities/problems related to specific products.

What a typical day looks like:

• Evaluates and researches data and will propose product specifications to define the feasibility of the product proposal.
• Assist in project transfers between departments and teams, ensuring a smooth and effective transition.
• Confers with all support team personnel to clarify or resolve problems and develop corrective action and method improvement to resolve problems.
• Prepares or directs preparation of product layout and design by using detailed drawings (i.e., visuals, Manufacturing Process Instructions (MPI).
• Directs and coordinates the manufacturing or building of a prototype product or system.
• Evaluates inspection and test data and reports to define if the design meets functional and performance specifications.
• Confers with other engineering personnel and prepares design modifications as required.
• Evaluates inspection or test results for possible improvements of existing builds.
• Uses computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering and design tasks.
• Coordinates engineering activities for the Customer Focus Team (CFT) and coordinates with the customer to resolve production problems.
• Develops and updates documentation to establish production methodology and requirements.

The experience we're looking to add to our team:

• BA/BS in mechanical, electronic engineering, or related.
• Experience in a similar position.
• Fluent English.
• Proven experience with PLM and ERP tools.
• Knowledge of mechanical assemblies and PCBA.
• Leadership and personnel management skills.
• Experience in project transfers and change management.
