Job Summary:

Flex intends to spin off its Cloud and Power Infrastructure segment into a new, independent publicly traded company, which we're calling SpinCo, until the name is unveiled. The spin is planned for Q1 2027. If the intended spin occurs, this role will support SpinCo, which will focus on critical digital infrastructure, delivering end-to-end power and thermal management solutions for AI data centers and other mission-critical applications.


To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Product Engineer located in Guadalajara, North Campus.

This position will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of projects from the product introduction phase through mass production, guaranteeing compliance with customer requirements, established timelines, and business objectives. 

What a typical day looks like:

  • Lead New Product Introduction (NPI) projects and product transfers.
  • Coordinate and follow up with Cross-Functional Teams (CFT) to ensure project objectives are achieved.
  • Maintain direct communication with customers to address technical topics, engineering changes, and activity follow-up.
  • Manage project schedules, risks, action plans, and project deliverables.
  • Manage and implement engineering changes (ECOs/ECNs).
  • Coordinate activities with Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Planning, and Engineering teams.
  • Monitor material and process requirements through MRP and ERP systems.
  • Manage Bills of Materials (BOMs) and product technical documentation.
  • Interact with various departments on product-related matters, including engineering changes and new model development.
  • Ensure the successful execution of product launch activities and transition to mass production.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Agile methodologies and project management tools.

The experience we're looking to add to our team: 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.

  • Experience in electronics manufacturing.

  • Experience leading NPI projects.

  • Experience managing work teams.

  • Experience working directly with customers and following up on projects.

  • Experience with Product Lifecycle Management systems (Agile).

  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP, BAAN, FlexFlow).

  • Microsoft Project or equivalent project management tools.

  • Knowledge of creating and interpreting Bills of Materials.

  • Floor Shop systems are a plus.

  • Advanced English communication skills (written and verbal).

  • Experience managing BOMs.

  • Experience implementing engineering changes (ECOs).

  • Experience with MRP/ERP.
