Job SummaryFlex intends to spin off its Cloud and Power Infrastructure segment into a new, independent publicly traded company, which we're calling SpinCo, until the name is unveiled. The spin is planned for Q1 2027. If the intended spin occurs, this role will support SpinCo, which will focus on critical digital infrastructure, delivering end-to-end power and thermal management solutions for AI data centers and other mission-critical applications.
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Senior Project Manager located on Flex North.
Reporting to the Industrial Operations Manager the Senior Project Manager role combines advanced expertise in Project & Portfolio Management, Financial Leadership, Data Analytics, Manufacturing Operations, and Capacity Expansion Programs. The successful candidate will lead large-scale cross-functional initiatives involving facility expansions, manufacturing scale-up, AI infrastructure deployments, New Product Introductions (NPI), automation technologies, and operational transformation.
The position requires a leader who can effectively bridge business strategy, financial performance, manufacturing execution, and technology deployment while ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and aligned with organizational growth objectives.
The Senior Project Manager will partner closely with Executive Leadership, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Facilities, Finance, Product Management, and external partners to support aggressive growth plans in a fast-paced AI technology environment.
What a typical day looks like:
- Lead a portfolio of high-value strategic initiatives supporting AI Infrastructure expansion and manufacturing growth.
- Drive execution of large-scale capital investment projects, facility expansions, production capacity growth, and technology deployment programs.
- Develop integrated portfolio roadmaps aligned with business growth objectives and customer demand forecasts.
- Establish governance processes for executive visibility, decision-making, and risk management.
- Manage cross-functional program reviews with VP and Executive Leadership teams.
- Ensure alignment among Product, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and Finance organizations.
- Lead end-to-end execution of manufacturing expansion programs supporting AI server, storage, networking, and advanced compute technologies.
- Own program financial performance across complex, multi-million-dollar investments.
- Build executive dashboards and KPI scorecards to measure program health and business impact.
- Lead coordination of infrastructure readiness activities for manufacturing expansion projects.
- Influence and align stakeholders across multiple organizations and geographic regions.
- Drive supply chain readiness for new technologies and capacity expansion initiatives.
The experience we're looking to add to our team:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Business, Finance, Operations Management, or related discipline.
- Experience leading complex programs within manufacturing, technology, infrastructure, or data center environments.
- Proven experience managing large-scale expansion, capacity growth, or infrastructure deployment programs.
- Strong expertise in Project and Portfolio Management methodologies.
- Demonstrated experience managing multi-million-dollar CAPEX and OPEX budgets.
- Advanced financial analysis capabilities.
- Experience managing cross-functional teams in highly matrixed organizations.
- Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Advanced data analytics and dashboard development experience.
