Job summary: 

 

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Quality Technician located in Milpitas, CA

 

Reporting to the Sr. Business Compliance Manager, the Quality Technician role involves supporting quality compliance activities with a primary focus on audits, ESD programs, and calibration management. This position plays a key role in ensuring manufacturing processes, equipment, and quality systems meet established standards and meet customer requirements. The role partners closely with Quality, Engineering, and Operations teams while serving as a point of contact for external calibration providers and ESD suppliers. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with excellent attention to detail, a commitment to compliance, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. 

 

What a typical day looks like: 

  • Perform and support internal audits to ensure compliance with quality requirements, procedures, and established standards. 

  • Manage and coordinate calibration activities, including working directly with external calibration providers to maintain equipment calibration records and schedules. 

  • Support and monitor the site's ESD program, including audits, inspections, training support, and coordination with ESD suppliers. 

  • Partner with Quality, Engineering, and Operations teams to investigate findings, support corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. 

  • Maintain accurate documentation, compliance records, and reports while communicating audit, ESD, and calibration results to leadership. 

The experience we're looking to add to our team: 

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external partners. 

  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English. 

  • Technical associate's degree preferred. 

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred. 

  • Experience supporting quality audits, compliance programs, or quality systems preferred. 

  • Knowledge of ESD controls, ESD auditing practices, and compliance requirements preferred. 

  • Experience coordinating or managing calibration programs and calibration records preferred. 

  • Ability to work directly with external calibration providers and ESD suppliers. 

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with Quality, Engineering, and Operations teams. 

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation. 

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. 

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
