Job SummaryTo support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Senior EH&S Specialist located in Tczew, Poland.
Reporting to the EH&S and Recycling Manager, the Senior EH&S Specialist role involves implementing occupational health and safety tasks while ensuring the correct operation of the Occupational Health and Safety Management System compliant with health and safety regulations and ISO 45001.
What a typical day looks like:
- Inspect working conditions and ensure compliance with occupational health, safety, fire protection, and environmental regulations.
- Identify occupational hazards and prepare relevant reports and root causes.
- Participate in occupational risk assessments and investigations of incidents.
- Maintain records and documentation related to incidents, diseases and harmful factors in the work environment.
- Manage of indicators related to working environment and measurements of harmful factors with storing and analyzing results.
- Develop, update and implement safety instructions, procedures and related documentation.
- Conduct training on occupational health and safety, fire protection and chemical handling.
- Collaborate with internal departments, company doctor and relevant authorities to implement safety objectives.
- Manage of fire protection equipment and verify chemical safety data sheets.
- Prepare reports and submit required documentation to state and local authorities (e.g., PIP, PIS).
The experience we're looking to add to our team:
- Proven ability to independently manage safety standards and complex health and safety tasks.
- University degree or postgraduate qualification in Occupational Health and Safety.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in occupational health and safety roles.
- Strong knowledge of legal regulations related to occupational health, safety, and fire protection. Knowledge of environmental protection matters would be an advantage
- Proficiency in MS Office applications
- Demonstrated sense of responsibility and accountability for tasks and their impact on the team and organization.
- Fluent in English & Polish (written and spoken)
- Eligible to work in Poland (EU).
