Job SummarySummary:
The “Senior Lab Engineer” will be based in Zhuhai, reporting to Quality Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Provide failure analysis according client's requirement, and explain the test report.
- Coordinate manufacturing engineer to look for root cause if needed.
- Develop new test methods to meet the requirement of the client.
- Knowledge of IPC standards required.
- Excellent data analysis and Failure Analysis reporting capabilities required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Materials, or Manufacturing Engineering, PCBA related.
- Minimum of 4 years in lab failure analysis.
- Strong analysis skill in FA test equipment and methods (X-ray, Cross section, SEM/EDS, FTIR and so on).
- Be able to perform ROHS test (XRF, UV, GCMS, AAS, ICP-OES)
- Set up FA lab, evaluate and buy equipment from qualified supplier, draw up SOP and other documents.
- Handle kinds of issues with customers.
- Play the roles defined in the ISO17025.
- Willing to work with the team and ability to coordinate and consolidate individual deliverables.
- Excellent communication skills in written and oral English.
