The “Sr. Reliability Verification and Validation Engineer” will be based in Zhuhai, reporting to Manager.
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sr. Engineer to join our team, focused on the reliability verification and validation of floorcare products. The successful candidate will be a key driver in ensuring the quality, performance, and reliability of our products through strategic planning and in-depth analysis of testing processes. This role requires a deep understanding of electromechanical systems, strong analytical skills, and a proven ability to lead and collaborate within a cross-functional team environment.
Responsibilities:
- Cooperate with customer to develop and implement NPI floorcare product verification and validation strategies aligned with product development roadmaps and business objectives.
- Define test scope, acceptance criteria, and required test methodologies based on product requirements and risk assessments.
- Create detailed test plans and procedures that effectively evaluate floorcare product performance, reliability, and safety under various operating and environmental conditions.
- Ensure V&V processes comply with relevant industry standards and regulations for floorcare products (e.g., IEC, UL, etc.).
- Stay abreast of new and evolving customer's standards or IEC/ISO standards and regulations and implement changes as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related engineering discipline. A Master's degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in product development, specifically in verification and validation testing of electromechanical products. Experience with consumer electronics or appliances is highly preferred, and floorcare products highly desirable.
- Deep understanding of the product verification and validation lifecycle, including developing and implementing various test methodologies (performance, reliability, safety). Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations.
- In-depth understanding of floorcare product mechanics, electrical systems, cleaning technologies, and materials.
- Proficiency in using testing equipment and instruments relevant to floorcare testing. Familiarity with statistical methods and data analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes of failures and develop effective solutions. Ability to assess test results and identify areas for improvement.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
