Job Summary

JETCOOL Technologies is seeking an experienced Sr. Materials Manager in Littleton, MA to lead the design, implementation and expansion of Jetcool's material management strategy across its supply chain. Strong preference will be given to those with a proven track record building global supply chains supporting high volume production.

What a Typical Day Looks Like:

  • Working in collaboration with Sales, Customer Success, Operations and external value-add partners, ensure material availability supports Jetcool's growing business needs.

  • Mature and manage Jetcool's planning, purchasing, inventory and order fulfillment processes and capabilities.

  • Negotiate volume and forward cost contracts with key suppliers that support corporate COGS goals.

  • Maintain accurate inventory records internally, at value-add supply partners, and finished goods warehouses and 3PL centers.

  • Source, negotiate and manage shipping & logistics partnerships and costs.

  • Prepare and ensure import & export documents are accurate.

  • Plan and measure inventory turns, and E&O.

  • Ensure inventory records are accurate, timely and support external audit reviews.

  • Participate in the New Product Introduction (NPI) process by providing product cost modeling throughout the NPI life-cycle process.

  • Establish and provide on-going supply chain risk assessments and mitigation tactics.

  • Travel to domestic and international suppliers, 10%-20% of the time.

The Experience We're Looking to Add to Our Team:

  • 4-year college degree, masters preferred.

  • Minimum of 8-10 years relevant industry experience, particularly in high volume environments.

  • Experience designing and implementing inventory models supporting direct to customer, build to stock and ecommerce 3PL order fulfillment capabilities.

  • Experience working with PLM and ERP systems. Preference given to those with Agile PLM and Netsuite ERP experience.

  • Experience working with external Contract Manufacturing and value-add partners as the prime point of contact for all planning, execution and fulfillment of raw stock, sub-assemblies and shippable SKU's.

  • Experience working with and preparing import and export documentation.

  • Demonstrated experience building and maturing the Material's function throughout corporate growth phases from emerging company to global leader.

  • Ability to source, negotiate material agreements and provide on-going management to global supply chain partners. Deep experience building product cost models, negotiating supply agreements, persistently assessing forward cost trends, and supply chain risk mitigation tactics.
