Reports To:  Vice President, Controller

Work Schedule:  Monday - Friday, as needed

Amount of Travel Required:  5%-15%

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

The Financial Shared Services Director oversees both the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processes and teams with job duties that include but are not limited to the following:

• Oversee the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable teams by setting expectations, providing coaching and team guidance, making hiring, and firing decisions, approving timecards, delivering performance feedback, and conducting routine performance reviews. 

o Accounts Receivable department:

  • Cash application
  • Weekly reports
  • Validating daily deposits and weekly close
  • Special requests from departments

o Accounts Payable department:

  • Accuracy and timeliness of invoice payments
  • Expense report processing/auditing
  • Escheatment 
  • Weekly/month-end close
  • Credit cards
  • Meal Money

• Conduct quality assurance checks on department team member work.

• Upgrade AR/AP processes by leveraging automation and technology.

• Oversight of credit and collections.

• Develop, monitor, and improve key performance metrics to measure the quality and efficiency of the shared service processes.

• Provide outstanding customer service to both internal and external parties.

• Assist with data collection for audit and other projects.

• Other duties as assigned.

 


YOUR MUST HAVES:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • 4-year college degree and 7-10 years' experience in Business or Accounting.
  • 3-5 years supervisory experience.
  • Experience with D365 or other ERP system.
  • Experience with acquisition integration, managing projects and/or building and scaling a team desirable.
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office® suite products, i.e., Excel and PowerPoint. Excel - Ability to create complex spreadsheets and pivot tables. PowerPoint – Ability to create and modify business presentations.

This position is a hybrid position based, in part, in the Corporate Headquarters consisting of a traditional office setting and a combination of your professional home office. This position requires the ability to sit for extended periods of time while working on a computer.
