Description

The Talent Sourcing & Operations Coordinator, supports FSA Federal's Talent Acquisition (TA) efforts by proactively identifying and engaging active and passive candidates, building talent pipelines, and providing recruiting coordination support. This role works closely with recruiters and hiring managers to support current and future hiring needs.

In addition, the position serves as the primary backup to the TA Operations Manager and performs selected TA operations responsibilities on a regular basis. This role is well suited for an early-career TA professional who is detail-oriented, organized, and interested in building experience across both candidate sourcing and TA operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source and engage active and passive candidates using LinkedIn, job boards, social media, networking, and other sourcing tools.
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
  • Conduct candidate outreach and support screening activities.
  • Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to understand position requirements and sourcing priorities.
  • Utilize Boolean search techniques and market research to identify qualified talent.
  • Maintain accurate candidate records within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Assist recruiters with interview scheduling, candidate communications, and recruiting coordination activities.
  • Support urgent hiring initiatives and workforce planning efforts.
  • Serve as the primary backup for the TA Operations Manager.
  • Perform assigned TA operations responsibilities, including reporting, candidate processing support, and shared mailbox monitoring.
  • Create and manage requisitions, to include preliminary tailoring of the job description and requirements, as appropriate.
  • Support special projects and other TA initiatives as assigned.


Requirements

Minimum Educational Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 2 years of sourcing, recruiting coordination, or talent acquisition support experience.

Skills/Qualifications Required

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Preferred Skills/Qualifications

  • Experience sourcing passive candidates through LinkedIn and other online recruiting platforms.
  • Experience building and maintaining candidate pipelines.
  • Knowledge of Boolean search techniques, x-ray searches and other sourcing methodologies.
  • Experience within a government contracting environment.
  • Knowledge of Service Contract Act (SCA).
  • Experience using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS), preferably ADP Recruiting Management, sourcing platforms and recruiting tools including but not limited to; Indeed, ClearanceJobs, Zipcruiter, etc.
  • Understanding of employment laws, compliance requirements, and recruiting best practices.
