Description
Fusion Education Group is a fast-growing organization with a nationwide network of private middle and high schools (grades 5–12). We're seeking a Lead Digital / Multimedia Designer, Fusion Academy's creative engine — a hands-on storyteller who owns visual design and asset production across digital, web, motion, video, and print. This role is built for a hyper-creative generalist who thrives in execution: someone who moves fast, thinks visually, and turns ideas into scroll-stopping moments.
As our primary in-house designer, you'll partner closely with our Story and Performance teams to build creative that gives families hope that there is a school out there that can change everything for their kid. This is a production-heavy role with real ownership: you'll design, build, iterate, and ship creative that drives both emotional connection and measurable impact.
Remote Role: This position reports to the Chief Marketing Officer.
Start Date: Targeting a July 1st start for this role.
What You'll Do:
- Serve as Fusion's primary in-house designer, owning visual production across organic social, paid media, motion, video, print, and web
- Create performance-driven digital advertising assets, including static and motion ads optimized for testing and iteration
- Produce motion graphics and short-form video for paid and organic channels, supporting campaign launches and brand moments
- Support web design through page layout, visual design, and creative optimization, including A/B testing of landing pages
- Design print collateral including brochures, flyers, and campus marketing materials
- Design scalable organic social templates and content systems to empower our campus teams
What We're Looking For:
- 4+ years of hands-on design experience in an in-house marketing, agency, or production environment
- Experience designing performance-driven ad creative (Meta, Google, YouTube, etc.), including iterative testing and optimization
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Web design experience including page layout, visual hierarchy, and creative A/B testing (Figma or similar)
- Video editing experience, using Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, and other video editing tools
- Proficient in print design and file preparation production (brochures, flyers, etc.)
- Prior experience operating as a solo or lead designer responsible for high-volume production
- Experience incorporating AI-assisted design tools into creative workflows (e.g., generative imagery, layout exploration, video assistance, or rapid prototyping)
- Portfolio required demonstrating work across performance ads, motion graphics, video, print, and web
- Bachelor's degree in design or related field preferred
- Florida residents require level 2 background screening through https://info.flclearinghouse.com/.
