As a Launch Coach, you'll lead Fusion school leaders on an exciting journey, helping them embrace Fusion's EPIC! values and deliver a new campus on time, on budget, and fully trained. You'll be the one to make sure every detail is nailed on time, within budget, and with the energy to exceed expectations!

REPORTING STRUCTURE - This position reports to the VP of New School Developemnt

WORK FROM HOME - Partial. Please note: Person must live in a state Fusion operates schools or Michigan. [campus locations link]

TRAVEL - Significant. Fusion is a national network of private schools operating in numerous states across the US.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead & Develop New Leadership Teams: Coach Heads of School and campus leadership to ensure they are ready to deliver an outstanding Fusion experience.
  • Drive Enrollment Success: Own the pre- and post-opening enrollment strategy, ensuring schools launch with strong student numbers and healthy long-term growth.
  • Execute Strategic Outreach: Partner with marketing and admissions teams to develop and implement a six-month pre-launch event plan, fostering deep community connections.
  • Ensure Operational Excellence: Oversee the implementation of Fusion's systems, policies, and best practices, ensuring each new campus operates seamlessly and efficiently.
  • Hire & Build High-Performing Teams: Collaborate with the DVP to recruit and onboard top-tier leaders in admissions, academics, and student development.
  • On-the-Ground Coaching & Support: Travel to new markets 2–3 times per month for hands-on training, leadership development, and community engagement.
  • Monitor & Optimize Performance: Own key enrollment, sales, and event metrics, using data-driven insights to provide strategic guidance and coaching.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's Degree minimum.
  • Leadership Mindset: Develop Heads of School who embody a growth mindset, ownership, and a relentless commitment to achieving new school goals while upholding Fusion's culture and values across campus.
  • Academic Excellence: Ensure that campus-level academic programs meet or exceed FEG standards and adhere to all academic non-negotiables.
  • Strategic Outreach: Each campus will conduct a minimum of 10 high-quality Direct Admissions (DA) outreach visits per week, supplemented by at least two additional calls from the Head of School or other administrative team members. Regional teams will implement targeted outreach strategies to engage key influencers and strengthen community connections.
  • Admissions & Enrollment Execution: Provide comprehensive training and hands-on experience in the admissions process. Schools will strictly follow Fusion's defined enrollment protocols, earning high ratings on Secret Shopper surveys and exceeding FEG benchmarks for IVIR conversion percentages.
  • Fusion Culture Stewardship: Foster and maintain a strong, mission-driven school culture that aligns with Fusion's core values, ensuring a thriving, student-centered environment from day one.
