That's Nice, But What's the Job?
In short, this role ensures the organization runs smoothly by building, maintaining, and improving Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) while driving clear communication, operational readiness, and alignment across teams. You'll act as a key connector between Operations, Product, Compliance, and frontline teams to make sure processes are documented, understood, and consistently executed.
In long, as the role, you will be responsible for
- Partnering with functional leaders and frontline teams to develop, maintain, and continuously improve SOPs that are accurate, actionable, and aligned with real-world execution
- Conducting process reviews and stakeholder interviews to validate that SOPs reflect current practices and are easy for end users to follow
- Owning SOP governance, including documentation standards, approval workflows, audits, and ongoing updates
- Driving accountability across teams for SOP accuracy, consistency, and timely updates
- Building and maintaining a centralized, searchable repository for all SOP and operational documentation
- Leading operational readiness for new initiatives, system updates, and process changes, including documentation, communication, and training coordination
- Collaborating with Operations, Product, Compliance, and Change Ambassador teams to ensure successful rollout and adoption of changes
- Creating and distributing clear, effective communication related to process updates, system enhancements, and policy changes
- Monitoring feedback and operational performance to identify documentation gaps, process improvements, and training opportunities
- Independently managing projects, timelines, and stakeholder engagement to deliver on key initiatives

The Specifics.
- 3+ years of experience in operations, process improvement, business operations, or SOP/documentation management
- Proven experience developing, maintaining, and governing SOPs in a cross-functional environment
- Experience working with operational teams and leadership to document and improve end-to-end processes
- Hands-on experience managing documentation systems or knowledge repositories (e.g., SharePoint or similar platforms)
- Experience supporting operational readiness for process changes, system implementations, or transformation initiatives
- Strong background in stakeholder management, cross-functional collaboration, and change enablement
- Experience creating operational communications and supporting training or adoption efforts
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects, timelines, and competing priorities independently
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Information Systems, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
Nice to Have
- Experience working in highly regulated or compliance-driven environments
- Familiarity with change management frameworks or methodologies
- Experience supporting enterprise-wide process standardization initiatives
