- Required Work Setting Experience: General ED (combined Adult/Peds), Pediatric ED
- Required Experience: Interpretation/Management of dysrhythmias, IV Therapy/Phlebotomy, Continuous IV sedation, IV vasopressors, Procedural Sedation Administration, CVA, ICP monitoring, Neuro-Trauma, Spinal cord injury, Traumatic brain injury, Ortho-Trauma, Peds head injury, Peds near drowning, CPAP/BiPAP, Interpretation of ABGs, Ventilated patients, Shock/Trauma, Triage. Needs FEMA awareness.
- NY LICENSE MUST BE IN HAND AT TIME OF SUBMISSION
- 2 years of prior ED experience required
- BLS, ACLS, NIH, PALS required
- First time travelers NOT accepted
- Locals NOT accepted (must be 50+ miles from facility)
- Epic charting experience required
- NO BLOCK SCHEDULING
- Required to have 8 hrs of stroke education annually (if the candidate does not have this requirement, it can be completed at the facility on their first day)
