In Loss Prevention, we are passionate about protecting people, property and assets. That's why the Distribution Center Area Loss Prevention Manager is so important at Harbor Freight. Here you'll be responsible for driving and executing core loss prevention strategies, physical security, and supporting key safety initiatives at your site. You'll support building high performance teams and ensure safe and secure environment. while protecting profitability through theft, fraud and risk mitigation. You'll be a champion of community engagement and prioritize an optimal team experience that does not add complexity or tasking our operations teams and results in a great place to work.
Duties and Responsibilities

- Scope
- Protect company assets by assessing and ensuring prevention strategies as it relates to people, product and property
- Oversee comprehensive physical security program to include electronic badge access, video system management, and third-party security vendor management.
- Conduct investigations and resolve incidents of internal and external theft and fraud, to include, Organized Retail Crime, cargo theft by leveraging internal and external partnerships, reporting, and hotline tip reports.
- De-escalate and resolve incidents of violence and/or violation of company policy
- Become a subject matter expert on operational processes and systems with a strong understanding of their workings and impact on the business
- Implement, monitor, and maintain asset protection CTPAT regulatory requirements including required audits and reporting.
- Champion a collaborative environment and develop strong and supportive relationships with stores, peers, field, corporate and external partners
- Drive personal development by seeking learning & development opportunities within and outside of the organization
- Other duties as assigned
- Travel – Requires ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, overnight shifts and weekends as necessary to meet the needs of the business.

- Bachelors/Associates Degree preferred or equivalent loss prevention certifications and related experience
Years of Experience
- Minimum of 5+ years' experience in Loss Prevention and Distribution
