This position is responsible for creating and maintaining Cybersecurity Standards, Patterns and Minimum-Security Baselines across a variety of control areas and technologies. It requires extensive knowledge of security principles in all areas of information security and the ability to apply that knowledge in novel situations and to work with a wide variety of stakeholder at all levels of the organization. Incumbent must be motivated, detailed oriented and willing to learn. Position will include performing Assurance and Design engagements in for a variety of enterprise projects as needed. This entails analyzing solution architectures and applying security controls per standards and performing interviews to validate the deployment of specified controls.

NOTE:  This hybrid role can be located in CHICAGO IL or RICHARDSON TX ~ relocation will not be offered; sponsorship is not available.

Required Job Qualifications:
* Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of combined IT and Information Security work experience.
* Experience leading security engineering, implementation, or integration initiatives.
* Understanding of applications, platforms, operating systems and network infrastructure.
* Experience navigating a matrixed environment and building cross-functional relationships.
* Written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to effectively present technical concepts to a non-technical audience. Professional writing skills in standards and MSB's is required.
* Organized, process-oriented and able to manage multiple concurrent work streams.

Preferred Job Qualifications:
* Bachelor's OR Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related fields. Or equivalent work experience.
