Responsible for logistics support provisioning technical documentation activities, tasks and assignments associated with sparing and repair parts procurement. Provides guidance and recommendations while working with internal and Government personnel to establish the initial provisioning requirements for all contract deliverables from inception through the entire system lifecycle. Coordinates with respective engineering agencies to ensure revisions to technical data for configuration management purposes are properly documented, and pertinent provisioning technical data updated as required.
Essential Duties:
- Analyze technical documentation and develop data using software programs developed by the US Army Materiel Command (AMC), Logistics Data Analysis Center (LDAC) and Defense Logistics Agency (DLA)
- Works closely with IPS team and engineering to include Government IPSC personnel in developing integrating supportability analysis data for the primary purpose of Acquisition Logistics Data Management
- Directs, manages and establishes source data used for provisioning part lists, engineering data, and packaging data requirements in required formats for analysis and submission
- Performs level of repair analysis (LORA), maintenance task analysis and fault tree analysis to include data compilation, aggregation and cleansing, in support of logistics product development for tech logistics management information (LMI) database used for establishing provisioning master records, proposed spare part lists, allowance part lists and related logistics artifacts associated with HDT's products
- Provides guidance and recommendations while working with a team of analysts, engineers, and Government personnel to establish the phases of provisioning processes for all contract deliverables
- Available for limited travel
- Supports other projects and performs duties as assigned

Education/Experience/Other Skills & Abilities:
- Minimum of ten (10) years or more of specialized experience in Government Provisioning and Procurement preferred
- Associate Degree or higher from an accredited college or university in engineering or business management with a logistics discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Certification in Logistics Management from the Defense Acquisition University (DAU) and/or prior military experience in logistics and provisioning is a plus
- Possesses a clear background in supportability analysis, specifically in provisioning on military systems and equipment
- Experience using Haystack and Abortext XML Editor
- Understanding of AR 700-18 and source, maintenance, recoverability codes and their relationships to maintenance concepts.
- Possess strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with customers, vendors, employees and managers along w/strong computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Office)
